Sizewell C Community Fund

The Sizewell C Community Fund – a £23 million initiative – supports projects across the East Suffolk Council area that enhance the economic, social, or environmental wellbeing of the communities closest to, and most affected by, the construction of Sizewell C.

Watch how Home-Start Suffolk is making a difference. With a £201,881 grant from the Fund over two years, the charity has the stability to continue its vital work – removing barriers to support and helping families across Suffolk to thrive.

Visit the Suffolk Community Foundation website, which administers the fund, to learn how to apply.

Investing back into the region

The Sizewell C Memorandum of Understanding

The Sizewell C Consortium has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with politicians, business groups and educational institutions in the East of England committing to spend £4.4bn in the region.

Our sister project, Hinkley Point C in Somerset, is already demonstrating the sort of economic benefits that are possible with £5.3 billion spent in the South-West so far – that’s more than double the original target.

In addition to the direct economic benefits, Sizewell C has agreed to a package of local funding worth over £250 million.

The Sizewell C Neighbourhood Fund is open all year for applications. These are reviewed and notified quarterly throughout the year.
