As a near replica of Hinkley Point C, we’re drawing on the expertise and supply chain already established there, while also creating exciting new opportunities for businesses across the East of England and beyond.
Sizewell C is investing £4.4 billion in the East of England during construction, with over £100 million spent on local contracts in the first year of construction alone.
One example is Eastern Concrete Ltd, which was awarded a major supply contract and has a facility in nearby Leiston.

The local and regional supply chain engagement programme is delivered by Suffolk Chamber of Commerce. They help companies in Suffolk and the wider regions of Norfolk, Essex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire engage with Sizewell C and our Tier 1 suppliers, to best prepare their business to be ready for Sizewell C and keep them up to date with all relevant project news
