Rebecca is Sizewell C's Digital Communications Manager
Sizewell C launched the latest edition of its Employment and Training prospectus at this year’s Suffolk Show on Wednesday.
The prospectus features information and guidance on the skills the project will need and how people can get jobs and training with Sizewell C.
The project aims to support 70,000 UK jobs through construction. Sizewell C has partnered with local colleges and training providers to give people across the East of England who are interested in working at Sizewell C, the skills they need to do so.
Sizewell C Joint Managing Directors Julia Pyke and Nigel Cann said, “Whatever your interest, we are sure there will be a role to suit you with the project and where you start doesn’t determine your long-term future with us – progress and opportunities are yours for the taking.”
Dozens of apprenticeships and work placements have already been funded by Sizewell C on the project. Ben, on industrial placement with Sizewell C’s Regional and External Affairs team in Leiston said, “Working at Sizewell C has been both rewarding and valuable for me. From day one I have been given the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that benefit the company and strengthen my educational and professional development.”
