Rob Holden to step down as Chair of Sizewell C

Rob Holden, who has been involved with Sizewell C for almost nine years, has decided for health reasons to step down from his roles as Chair of Sizewell C Limited and Sizewell C (Holding) Limited which he has held since December 2022.

Rob has seen Sizewell C develop into a project organisation and more recently as a company which is ready to deliver, successfully, a new nuclear power station.

The progress that Rob and the team have made has been instrumental in the project’s progress to date, and the momentum Sizewell C has generated in the past twelve months, including commencement of its Development Consent Order and extensive pre-construction works, acquiring the main construction site and having been granted its Nuclear Site Licence.

Rob will continue to chair Sizewell C as we step through the appointment process for a new Chair, who will build on these achievements and maintain the project’s momentum. We remain indebted to Rob’s invaluable dedication and support to Sizewell C and to new nuclear in the UK. We wish Rob every success for the future.
