2016 Young Enterprise Awards Winners

EDF Energy supports Suffolk Young Enterprise The Suffolk Young Enterprise Business Awards took place this week. Sizewell C Communications Officer Nicola Corbett was once again on the panel of judges for the event which was held at University Campus Suffolk in Ipswich.

An impressive 17 schools from across Suffolk each launched a business with 12 going through to the finals to present their company plans to a panel of judges. There were 18 awards up for grabs which celebrated different business talents. The ‘Overall Winner Award’, sponsored by EDF Energy, was presented to Woodbridge School for their business creation Wick and Wax – a range of original scented candles made from soy wax, which will take them through to the Young Enterprise Regional Finals being held in Cambridge in June. Nicola Corbett said “Every year the competition grows and becomes more diverse which makes the judging even harder! It’s fantastic to celebrate so many talented young people in the county.”
