Partnerships in Action

Project 21 is a charity in Suffolk that provides innovative activities, clubs, and events for people with Down’s Syndrome across East Anglia.

Sizewell C have helped create the role of Work Placement Coordinator at Project 21 and established a series of work placements targeted for people Project 21 supports.

Outreach Youth is a youth charity in Suffolk run by and for young LGBT*Q+ people, offering safe spaces, advice, and support.

Sizewell C are working with Outreach Youth to support their mentoring programme, and our Pride (LGBTQ+) Network have partnered with them for several awareness-raising initiatives.

ISCRE (Ipswich & Suffolk Council for Racial Equality) is an organisation that works to ensure everyone in Suffolk has equal access to opportunities regardless of racial background.

Sizewell C have partnered with ISCRE on the Beyond Boundaries outreach programme supporting a selection of 15–21-year-olds in Suffolk to fulfil their potential.

Inspire is a Suffolk-based charity that helps young people overcome challenges and achieve positive outcomes in education, employment, and wellbeing.

Sizewell C have collaborated with Inspire’s employment programmes to help young people gain skills and access career opportunities.

Access Community Trust is a charity supporting people across East Anglia through homelessness services, mental health support, and wellbeing programmes.

Sizewell C has supported Access Community Trust in allowing the reopening of Sam’s Café in Lowestoft and has worked together to help people access employment and training opportunities.

Community Action Suffolk is an organisation that supports the county’s voluntary, community, faith, and social enterprise sector through advice, training, and guidance.

Sizewell C are working with Community Action Suffolk on our Volunteering Platform to support charities with meaningful volunteering and build relationships within the local community.

The Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) is a UK government department that helps people find work and supports them into employment.

Sizewell C works closely with the DWP to connect local jobseekers with training and employment opportunities on the project.
