New Sizewell C and Ipswich Town Foundation partnership to support hundreds of young people in the region

Sizewell C and Ipswich Town Foundation are teaming up to bring new education and personal development opportunities to Leiston and Ipswich – benefitting hundreds of young people and adults in the area over the next three years.    

Thanks to the new partnership with Sizewell C, Ipswich Town Foundation – the charitable arm of Ipswich Town Football Club – will be able to introduce its Premier League Primary Stars and Premier League Inspires football programmes to Leiston schools and extend the programmes to more schools in Ipswich.   

The three-year agreement will also see the Foundation deliver five free-to-access Soccer Schools per year in Leiston, establish Turn up and Play football sessions for adults experiencing mental health-related challenged in Leiston and Ipswich, deliver health and wellbeing sessions for the Sizewell C workforce, and expand its DIVERT outreach programme to another primary school in Ipswich.   

As Ipswich Town Foundation’s official outreach partner, Sizewell C have also ensured that at least two of Ipswich Town FC’s newly promoted Premier League stars will annually visit Leiston as part of community initiatives with the Foundation over the next three years.
