Meet the leaders behind Sizewell C.
Rob has vast experience and expertise in delivering transport and infrastructure projects. He has been a non-executive director at Sizewell C for the last 8 years and was appointed Chair in December 2022.
Rob is also Chair of London City Airport and a non-executive director of Electricity North West and Chair of its Audit and Risk Committee.
He is the former CEO of London’s Crossrail project (the Elizabeth Line) and of London & Continental Railways (LCR).
Julia is responsible for financing Sizewell C, and oversees the finance, legal, communications, regional external affairs and wider project development functions.
Prior to her move to Sizewell C, Julia was Head of Power and Renewables for UK, US & Europe at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP.
Julia is a Fellow of the Energy Institute and an Honorary Fellow of the Nuclear Institute.
Nigel has worked in the nuclear industry for 43 years with a uniquely diverse experience in engineering, operations and large-scale project management.
He has held plant manager positions at Dungeness B and Sizewell B and was Station Director at Hinkley Point B (HPB) leading the HPB plant recovery and life extension projects before becoming Hinkley Point C‘s Delivery Director.
David has many years of experience at Thames Water, as the Director of Corporate Finance, Head of Corporate Finance and Acting CFO at Yorkshire Water, alongside other international FTSE 250 groups.
Bertrand has 25 years of experience in the power industry and has been SZC Engineering and Delivery Director since 2019. He was previously Site Director at Flamanville3.
Sarah leads our people, skills, industrial relations and inclusion agenda. A solicitor by background, and a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, she's passionate about helping people reach their full career potential.
Mina joined SZC after 12 years at the Office for Nuclear Regulation. She has over 20 years' experience in nuclear and high-hazard industries in public and private sectors and holds a PhD in Physics.
Malcolm leads the Supply Chain team. Having recently joined Sizewell C, Malcolm brings years of strong industry experience, most recently gained from his role at National Highways.
Abbie is a solicitor with over 15 years' experience advising clients on the development of projects across a range of infrastructure and energy projects. She joined the project in 2021.
Tilly joined the project in 2024 from Edvance UK where she was Director for four years leading on design and engineering support to Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C.
Katherine has worked in corporate finance and treasury for over 20 years in a range of organisations. She joined us in 2024 to lead the implementation and ongoing management of our new financing arrangements.
