Sizewell C is a huge new opportunity for businesses in the nuclear supply chain, with thousands of companies across the UK set to benefit, all of which will change Britain for the better.
With government backing secured, Sizewell C is moving ahead – and we’ve already begun sourcing the goods, works and services needed to build and operate the power station.
Sizewell C has already delivered over £2.5bn in contracts to nearly 300 UK suppliers.
Our nuclear power project will deliver 70% of its construction value to UK companies and support 70,000 high-quality jobs across the UK.
As a near replica of Hinkley Point C, we’re drawing on the expertise and supply chain already established there, while also creating exciting new opportunities for businesses across the East of England and beyond.
Our supply continues to grow and diversify. Sign up to our LinkedIn newsletter to get a monthly summary of supply chain news and other project updates.
CompeteFor serves as the central hub where businesses can explore, understand, and apply for selected work packages connected to Sizewell C.
Beyond current opportunities, it provides a forward-looking view of upcoming procurement needs, helping suppliers prepare in advance.
Its awarded contracts register also drives transparency, offering valuable insights into who is working on the project and the scope of their contributions.
The local and regional supply chain engagement programme is funded by Sizewell C and delivered by Suffolk Chamber Supply Chain Engagement Team. They help companies in Suffolk and the wider regions of Norfolk, Essex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire engage with Sizewell C and our Tier 1 suppliers, to best prepare their business to be ready for Sizewell C and keep them up to date with all relevant project news.
If you are a local business interested in working with us, please register on the supply chain portal and join one of the upcoming webinars and events to hear from the team at Sizewell C and find out directly about all the latest updates from the project.
