Sizewell C's Local Partners

We work closely with local partners – from councils and education providers to charities, community groups, and businesses – to create opportunities, support local growth, and protect the unique environment that makes Suffolk such a special place to live, work, and visit.

Proud to Support St Elizabeth Hospice

We are proud to have St Elizabeth Hospice as our charity partner. The hospice provides specialist palliative care and support to patients and their families across Suffolk, ensuring that people living with progressive and life-limiting illnesses can live well and with dignity.

Through our partnership, we’re helping the hospice continue its vital work. We’ve taken on charity walks, hosted golf days, and this year proudly sponsored a hare as part of the Hop to It campaign – all to raise vital funds and awareness for the hospice.

Volunteering at Sizewell C

At Sizewell C, we believe that being part of the community means giving back to it. Our team has a wide range of skills and regularly offers volunteering time to support local events, help out at community projects, upskill local charities, and more.

We’re always looking for more ways our teams can get involved in good local causes. Please register and upload your volunteering opportunities (using the shift option) on our dedicated volunteering portal so that we can capture the social value we are creating together.

Any questions or issues please contact volunteering@sizewellc.com.

Working with ISCRE to go Beyond Boundaries

Our social partner, the Ipswich & Suffolk Council for Racial Equality (ISCRE), leads the Beyond Boundaries programme – a pilot initiative supporting talented 15–21-year-olds in Suffolk who often miss out on training and job opportunities.

Funded by Sizewell C, the programme builds confidence, skills, and mentorship to help young people secure lasting careers — breaking barriers and creating a more inclusive future.

Polly's Story

Project 21 is a Suffolk charity providing clubs, activities, and opportunities for people with Down’s Syndrome across East Anglia. With support from Sizewell C, a new Work Placement Coordinator role has been created to connect participants with meaningful work experiences.

Polly is the second person to take part — gaining experience with the Sizewell C team in Leiston. Her creativity, love of photography, and can-do attitude have made a real impact, helping her grow in confidence while inspiring those around her.

Together, Project 21 and Sizewell C are creating inclusive opportunities where everyone can thrive.
