In the soaring temperatures the big-hearted bikers peddled the 118 miles from London to the Sizewell site on the coast in Suffolk in a bid to raise money to help fund research in curing the disease which affects 1 in 8 men and kills over 11,000 men every year – that’s nearly one every 45 minutes. The cyclists left London at 6am on Friday morning with the first arriving at the Sizewell visitor centre just after 4pm to a welcoming cheer from colleagues.
